ABIS, Inc., a leader in Direct Mail Marketing services, is seeking an experienced Senior Direct Mail programmer. Previous data processing experience in a Direct Mail operation is required. The individual we seek must be self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include data file conversion, data reformatting, CASS certification and presort processing, merge/purge, database management and formatting for personalization. Additional skills in small network administration desired but not required. Visual Basic Programming, Adobe Suite, PrintNet and/or Print Manager 2010 experience required. The ability to meet project timelines and manage quality processes is essential.
Duties and Responsibilities:
? Responsible for development, maintenance, and execution of code modules /software tools.
? Ensure accuracy of all processed data and system related reports.
? Interface with Imaging, Production and Client Services to insure client expectations are met.
? Processing systems and software to create output production files and other files/reports and to perform typical Data Processing functions including:
? Data Hygiene
? Postal Processing
? Data Audit Reporting needs
? Audit and QC
? Also be versed in Data Control functions for redundancy purposes.
? Ensure accuracy between client data, personalization instructions, and final output.
? Review job specifications to identify time constraints and report potential trouble spots to Management.
? Execute and prioritize all projects assigned in order to meet deadlines.
? Support Client Services by reviewing DP instructions and sharing technical knowledge.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
? Microsoft applications–Word, Excel, Access SQL and Outlook
? Familiarity with FTP, PGP encryption and Zip File formats

Experience with one or more of the following platforms is desirable:

? BulkMailers
? BCC
? PrintNetT
